We just completed a wonderful month long trip through Germany, Denmark, and Sweden. This was two years in the planning and Rolf was very easy to work with, quick to respond and understanding when we had a conflict that caused our trip to be postponed. Sebastian was also great to work with and had answers and solution for everything we needed. Karl treated us well and we were already talking about our next trip before this one was over. Thank you.

We rented our '86 VW pop top for 6 months beginning 15 April 2013. We had a blast driving (26189km/15,713 miles)and camping through most of Eastern Europe, some of the Balkan countries, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. . We did go to Spain, France, Scandinavia or the Baltic States as we have been to these places before.
Sebastian got us off to a good start with all the necessary equipment like bedding, kitchen items and towels etc. and instructions on the various features of the camper, as well as the necessary insurance coverage. It had plenty of storage space to accommodate clothing for a variety of climates as well as food and the all important souvenir purchases. He is thoroughly knowledgeable in all facets of maintenance, upkeep and repair of the campers. The few problems we did encounter he was able to talk us through the possibilities of correcting them. We did not have phones but only internet Skype and Sebastian was always promptly available to consult with.
Our camper was very well suited for driving in the narrow old city streets as well as the autobahns (though not at the speeds of the zooming BMW's). The trip was very cost effective compared to renting a car, staying in hotels and eating out. For planning purposes we lived on $150 per day. On a scale of 1 to 10 this experience was definitely a 10. Thanks Sebastian for a great vacation!

I rented a fun van in the summer of 2013 and drove for about a month, mostly in the Western Baltics. The whole trip was a blast. The van was a joy to drive and never had any problems at all. Camping was a great way for the four of us (my wife, my mother, and my baby daughter) to save a bundle of cash, so I definitely plan to do it again. The service, both in person and by email, was just what I hoped for when doing business with a small company. High praise!

'Karl' the VW campervan has featured in 2 TV shows in Australia. He's a part of our team, as well as a good actor - he keeps us moving, he's not broken down, he makes great coffee, has a wonderful heater and provides a good space for working! He's been on 2 long film shoots with us - and he's coming with us in 2014 too!
Tour Europe are easy to deal with and really ensure the vans are in the best condition possible. We always miss Karl when he has to leave.....

Willy was our roadtrip companion for four weeks in May 2013 and took us on all sorts of great adventures. We couldn't have asked for a better trip partner: he kept us warm and dry, safely secured our worldly possessions so we could tour all sorts of amazing places, brought us off the beaten path when we wanted to camp away from major attractions, and was a unique conversation starter throughout our trip. We had a great experience with both Rolf & Sebastian and would fully recommend this style of travel and particularly Tour-Europe.de for any folks considering this form of adventure.
We travelled from Germany to Brussels, Luxembourg, France, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, and lastly the Czech Republic on our whirlwind adventure. Great fun!
(As a side note, we got asked by several people in Canada how it was driving "on the other side of the road" when we mentioned we were in Europe - for those who were wondering, they drive on the same (right) side of the road [steering wheel on the left] so there was no need to adjust for us!)

So Deb and I are very excited.. I know it is a year away but I just put down a deposit for our 2012 vacation, next September. We have already started our planning. It is only for a month... short compared to others that have rented from Tour-Europe.de
Now starts the fun part.. research, planning, reading and just looking forward to the trip. It will soon be ski season here in Canada, so that will hold me over till the spring.

We have been in contact with Rolf and Britta now for maybe 8 months, and it's been an adventure. We're coming for a one year trip, all of us, all over Europe, and it's been daunting to find the right vehicle to rent or buy. Tour-Europe did not have a solution for us at first but kept trying, and now we are on our way to picking up the perfect vehicle from them, customized literally from the engine up. We will make later posts, I'm sure, but right now I would have to say they are miracle workers, finding solutions where there seem to be none. Thank you, Rolf and Britta.

So far so good, but then again we are in the planning stages of our trip this Summer for 11 weeks. Rolf has been great to work with in planning our "adventure" toe Eastern Europe.
